Race Day Registration

 

RACE DAY registration:

RACE DAY REGISTRATION FOR SPECTATORS (including AGCO licensees):  

In September and October, will we continue ON-SITE registration.

Vaccination Policy

As of September 22, under provincial regulations all spectators must be fully vaccinated in order to attend horse racing venues across Ontario. FELRC will require all employees, horsepeople and contractors to be fully vaccinated or participate in the weekly antigen rapid testing program. 

PRINCE OF WALES day registration:

This event will be open to a limited number of spectators.

Capacity limits are still in place and registration is mandatory in order to attend The Prince of Wales Stakes. The online form has now been closed. On-site registration will be open to a limited number of spectators. In total, our spectator capacity limit for Prince of Wales day is 5,000 people. 

COVID-19 Policies & Procedures 

We have put strict measures in place to enforce the safety of our staff and horsepeople, and to help stop the spread of COVID-19 while we continue to care for our thoroughbreds. 

Please read the FELRC COVID-19 Policy and Procedure manual, Updated September 7, 2021, attached here. Prior to entering the backstretch, all persons will be required to acknowledge that they have read, understand and will abide by these policies, including the Government of Canada’s mandatory 14-day self-isolation period for any person returning to Canada.

BACKSTRETCH INFORMATION GUIDE FOR HORSEPEOPLE

We have assembled an information guide for horsepeople, providing more details about what to expect and how the backstretch will operate with the new COVID-19 policies in place during the 2021 season.
