FORT ERIE,
JUNE 17...As many of you know an unfortunate
incident occureed prior to the running of our 8th race
on Tuesday, June 17, 2008.
At approximately
3 minutes to post time, our Television Monitors displayed
a scratch for #6 Golden Quill, giving our customers indication
the #6 Golden Quill would not be running in race 8.
This was human
error and was confined to our Television Broadcast only
and at not time was #6 Golden Quill scratched and removed
from the tote system.
The decision made
by Management at Fort Erie Race Track is to refund all
wagers placed on Race #8 on Tuesday, June 17, 2008.
