Wilson
Notches First Win as a Jockey
FORT ERIE,
July 26...Jockey Bradley Wilson picked up his first
win as a jockey guiding Lucius Vorenus to a three length victory
in Sunday’s fifth race at Fort Erie.

The 24 year-old
Burlington native was thrilled to finally get his first
win. “I feel great,” he said. “It’s
a thrill to finally get the monkey off my back.”
Wilson, who is
a graduate of the Chris McCarron Riding School, rode his
first race here at Fort Erie June 28 finishing second aboard
Baileysinheritance.
“I spent
two years at the McCarron School,” said Wilson. “The
final six months is placement and I was lucky to be placed
with trainer Reade Baker. It was a great experience.”

Celebrations
continue after Burlington native's victory
Lucius Vorenus,
who is trained by Nick Gonzalez, returned $12.60, $5.80
and $3.70. Executive move finished second for an exactor
payoff of $47.30, Living the Life completed the triactor
for a return on $150.60.
