Nasty Fever wins 2008 Fort Erie

FORT
ERIE , July 19...Nasty Fever exploded around
the far turn and drew off in the stretch to score an
impressive 14 length victory in the Fort Erie Slots Cup
on Saturday.
With
Chad Beckon in the saddle, the four-year-old daughter of
Stormin Fever extended her undefeated streak on the Fort
Erie dirt to 5.
Owned by Ivan
Dalos and trained by Nick Gonzalez, Nasty Fever covered
the one mile and one sixteenth distance in 1:44 3/5.

Jordon wins 2008 Fort Erie Holiday Inn Cup
Smiling Jordan
rallied from well off the pace to win the Fort Erie Holiday
Inn Cup.
David Garcia guided
the six-year-old son of Accelerator to a length and a quarter
win in a final time of 1:43 4/5.
Smiling Jordan,
owned by Joe MacKinnon and trained by Henry Whelan, has
now won 9 of 18 races on the Fort Erie dirt.
