Harlem Rocker Wins 2008 Prince of Wales Stakes

Prince of Wales Winner

HARLEM ROCKER tracked the four leaders then made an outside 3-wide move into the far turn, challenged for the lead, took command into the stretch then was kept to task in a rail drive while going clear. EAST END TAP unhurried in the early going, gained then circled foes through the far turn, loomed a danger into the stretch then chased the winner home in a solid try. PRONGER up close and pressing inside early, backed off slightly, was off the rail and in the hunt on the far turn, angled out to the five path for the drive, found some extra energy and came on to best the rest. SEBASTIAN'S SONG never far back, pressed the pace from the outside, kept in the game through the far turn then evened out. DEPUTIFORMER came from off the pace to be widest for the stretch run, made a late bid but it had no impact. NOT BOURBON up on the pace, bid and was a factor into the stretch then tired inside in the run to the wire. PEWTER led the way for six furlongs then faded on the far turn.
