Nasty Fever Wins 2008 Fort Erie Slots Cup

NASTY FEVER tracked for a half-mile then went by the front runner with ease, opened a gap under good handling then was going away at the wire. AFRICAN RAINBOW came from off the pace to be inside into the stretch then got the better of the rest. WHIMSICAL MELODY well back in the early going, went five wide turning for home then finished willingly to be clear of the others. BRAVER THE SMARTER in mid pack then 3-wide and chasing on the turn and 4-wide into the stretch, had no kick. INTOTHEWILDERNESS had speed to open up and lead early, was taken on by the outside move of the winner, failed to match and backed away. JUST FINE saved ground and moved in the hunt entering the far turn but tired. CHAN JA BANG off the pace, failed to rally. SON SARRIA tracked in the early going then lost ground into the far turn and was all done.
