Wins 2008 Ernie Samuel Memorial Stakes
KLISSURA kept in touch then was in the 3-path and bidding turning
for home, rallied smartly and arrived in time. ARCHERS
DREAM had speed to lead the way into and through the turn,
was full out in the drive but run down late by the winner.
MISS TERRA outside in the early going, angled in for the
stretch run then finished well inside of foes. TAPENADE inside early, angled out and was in the four path into
the stretch, bid from there but was outgunned in the drive.
SHEBA tracked the leader through the turn while inside
then faltered in the stretch run. SPANISH DEPUTY was off
the pace then came on to pass tired ones. FLASHY
PINK in
touch outside early, backed off and faded. MS PETULA veered
out at the break, trailed and was not a factor. CHOCOLATEFORLUNCH reared at the break and was declared a non-starter.
