Ladyinblue Wins 2007 Labatt Cup

LADYINBLUE pressed from the inside early then took command after going a half, opened up on the field, held sway while remaining clear and proved best. INTOTHEWILDERNESS stalked the two leader out of the clubhouse turn, kept in the game and tracked the winner into the stretch then was full out to best the rest. PRINCESS AVALON came from well off the pace to be a factor on the far turn, kept it going and rallied outside of foes in the drive and caught the show spot. MARDEN HILL in mid pack, made a solid three wide move on the far turn, was in the hunt in the drive then outfinished late. BIDONMEBABY gained ground from off the pace and was going well in the stretch but needed more. LUDMILA in touch and inside, kept in striking distance while saving ground then weakened from the stretch rail. LA GRAN DOMENIQUE moved into contention outside of foes on the far turn then hung in the drive. WHIMSICAL MELODY broke in the air and was never a factor. SHELBURY in the hunt early, backed away. TRUE REALITY had early speed to lead into the clubhouse turn, was a factor for five then faded.
