Charlie O Wins 2007 Don Valliere Memorial Cup

CHARLIE O off the early pace, split foes while gaining into the stretch turn, went between rivals in the drive and was up in time. FAYGO DANCING HOME came from mid pack and outside of foes to bid in the five path, rallied strong but missed. FLEET
STORM had inside speed to vie for the lead, dueled through the turn, had a slim lead in the drive but gave way late from the rail. TYLER'S JEWEL came from well back to get it into high gear while eight wide in the stretch run, closed fast but arrived too late. FIRE POWER dueled between foes and was right in the mix with a furlong to go then gave way grudgingly. NIDAS tracked from off the rail in a good stalking trip then had a mild bid. ABITQUICK off the pace, closed late between foes and finished well. SLICE OF GLORY in mid pack, backed off and saved ground then lacked a threatening bid. MINT PROSPECT vied three wide and dueled on the turn then tired in the stretch run. EL CENTAVO was off the pace and did not fire. SQUARE BOB in touch on the turn, faded.
