CHARLIE
O unhurried early, was well back into the turn, made a
strong outside move to loom a danger entering the stretch
then rallied clear in the 5-path. KEEN FOX closed ground
on the turn and looked large entering the stretch, vied
in the drive but was no match in the late going and had
to settle for second best. SLEEPIN' LION had speed to lead
for a half, took on challengers in the drive but faltered
in the final furlong while inside. LOVER'S QUARREL lost
ground and faded after being briefly in touch. BIG BULL
N' BOLD chased from the inside then weakened and had nothing
left. GOETHE FOREST stumbled at the break and had no recovery
run.
