Windinthevalley Wins 2006 Centre Stage Anne Cup

WINDINTHEVALLEY had speed to vie briefly from the inside, shook clear, opened a gap on the far turn then was kept to task in an off the rail drive. MARDEN HILL in mid field, closed ground from the rail, chased the winner through the stretch, could not reach while well clear of the rest. CHAN JA BANG never far back after saving ground, tracked into the stretch from off the rail then had no finish. AFORE YE off the early pace, moved into contention on the far turn then bested the rest. JET ENGINE off the pace, saved ground on the far turn then had no rally from the rail. SPUNKY BOTTOMS made a middle move outside of foes to look a danger on the far turn then hung. CLASSY BLONDE forced the early pace, backed off, stalked then faded. KIRLAN was well back and showed nothing. J B'S WOLF stalked the pace then faded. IRISH DOVE stumbled at the break and was never a factor.
