Kris's Dancer Wins 2005 Puss n Boots Cup

KRIS'S DANCER in mid field, was inside into the far turn, angled out for the drive, got it into gear and fired in the final furlong to nail the leader with a strong rally. SANDSPIT came from the trailing spot to close between foes on the turn and then rallied wide in the drive. IRISH DAVE off the pace, was inside and in tight on the far turn, the found room and rallied willingly up the rail. NECESSAIRE moved up the inside to vie for the lead, dueled into the stretch, led then gave way in the late going. STILL SMOLDERING in striking distance turning for home, got into stride late then lacked a path in deep stretch. ANGIE'S PICTURE had a mild gain from off the pace but did not menace. WOLVSPA stalked the pace and looked a danger on the far turn then tired. PLEASANT HALL stalked the pace from outside of foes, was a factor on the far turn then had no finish. CHAIN raced off the pace and had no rally. FIRE THE FIRM was up close early then faded. BOLDLY CAUTIOUS vied for the lead then dueled outside of foe into the stretch but faltered in the drive. SWAMP LAKE broke awkwardly, raced outside foes from mid pack then tired.
