Roman Romance Wins 2005 Longshots OTB Cup

ROMAN ROMANCE came from the trailing spot to closed ground outside of foes on the turn, was 4-wide and bidding into the stretch then fired best and rallied clear. HUCKLEBERRY'S GAL came from off the pace to bid 3-wide into the stretch then rallied willingly between foes. DECADENT DASH tracked the speed then pressed and bid to take command, led into mid stretch but could not hold the front end and gave way to the top two. GLORY RUN had speed to lead the way, was pressed on the turn, weakened and gave way inside of foes. BLUE RIDGE LINDA tracked the leaders from a distance while inside then failed to rally. SUPER WOMAN in mid pack, lacked a bid and came up empty.
