Chivas Wins 2005 H. J. Addison Stakes

CHIVAS up close and stalking the pace from between foes in the early going, bided his time, went 3-wide into the stretch, fired down the lane and was going clear in late stretch. HUNTER JAY had speed to lead the duel inside of rival into the far turn, took command and was clear into the stretch then gave way to the winner in the late going. THANK YOU SIR tracked the speed duel from the inside, kept contact into the far turn, bid but was outfinished and had to settle for best of the rest. IMPERIAL COMMANDER dueled into the far turn while outside of runner but had little left for the stretch run. DOMASCAS CONSORT broke awkwardly, was close in the early going then backed away and was all done turning for home.
