Ontario Road Wins 2005 Don Valliere Memorial Stakes

ONTARIO ROAD held a slim lead early then widened on the turn, was in command in an off the rail drive to the wire and proved best. SPARKMAN between foes early, kept contact with the chasing group then rallied between to clear rivals for the place. RUSSIAN HAND had inside speed to track the winner, kept in the game while saving ground, bid up the rail but was outfinished. PARTY BELIEVER was up close and in touch with the winner on the turn for home then had no finish. DISBELIEF bid five wide on the turn for home then hung. REGAL MISTER tracked between early then backed away. ANGEL'S WISDOM raced wide early and was not a factor in the stretch run.
